Roman's goal is to offer a practical effectively
in-home training program that will produce a highly motivated dog. Training
is available to all dog-owners living in the West End of Toronto and is the
pick of the litter for the professional minded.

           My Training Philosophy.

I have a complete understanding of all the components of ope rant conditioning,
positive reinforcement, negative punishment, and positive punishment and negative reinforcement.

My training method is a combination of using meaningful rewards and proven
scientific methods. I go beyond the meaning of dog obedience training and
teach the dog-owner the importance of inter-species communication.
My philosophy is to”Train with the Brain ,Not Pain.”.
One of the reasons that I embrace positive reinforcement and negative punishment
is because these techniques are more foregoing than techniques that involve physical aversives.

        The Dog-Gone Smart Difficulty System

Many dog trainers use their own judgment to decide when to make things harder.
The Dog-Gone Smart method is more systematic. I use the Push, Drop or Stick
method. In this system, the owner is required to complete five repetitions in a row
each exercise and keep track of how many his dog does correctly.
Based how he performs , the owner will do one of the following:

Push-go to the next level of difficulty
Drop- back down to the previous level of difficulty.
Stick- stay at the current level of difficulty and do more repetitions.

Private dog-walking sessions.

Special private walks in a local area. Good for dogs that may need some
behaviour modification for such problems as:dog aggression, chasing wildlife
,jumping on people ,pulling on the leash, trying to bolt across a busy street
You will see improving results in your dog's behaviour. The walks are a combination
of exercising and training at the same time. Not only does your dog get
a good exercise, he also is taught on how to be a good neighbour.
Each session is one full hour.
